Who can become a member?
Any aeromodeler in India or abroad can become a member. We have one member from Denmark and one from UK also.
How do I become a member of AMA?
Fill the forms of AMA membership (Download
), attach one photo, sign it, attach one spare photo for the ID card and either give it personally or courier it to the treasurer, Mr.Hemant Verma at address given.
What are the membership fees and annual subscription?
The membership fee is :
- Life Member : Rs 20,000/- One time
- Adult Member : Rs. 1,000/- Entrance; Rs. 750/- Annual, (First year (Joining) Rs.1750/-)
- Student Member (institute ID, age below 22) : Rs.500/- Entrance; Rs.500/- Annual, (First year (Joining) Rs.1000/-)
- Junior Member (age below 15 years) : Rs. 200/- Entrance; Rs. 200/- Annual, (First year (Joining) Rs.400/-)
- All fees paid are for the finacial Year from 1st April to 31st March
- All fees are non-refundable.
Who maintains the flying field?
The flying field is maintained by the users of the field, i.e.members who fly at Mundka share the cost of developing and maintaining the field, likewise those flying at Noida and Bhondsi share the cost at these flying fields, this is also valid for members at other cities and towns. Even at these location common interest goups like, heli flyers ground vehicles, operators can develop a patch, meeting their need with consent of the other users. Let us respect the right of every field user to have his share of enjoyment in cooperation with other users.
What is the advantage of joining AMA?
AMA provides the security agencies a verified member list and adequate third party insurance as a social responsiblity, to promote the hobby as a safe and secure activity. Also:
- You get informed of National and International events and the opportunity to participate in them.
- You get information on other members and regions.
- You can upload your pictures and videos on the website.
- You can participate on the topics of discussion on the web forum.
What are funds of the association used for?
The Association plans to use the funds for the following purpose benefitting all modelers:
- For getting the ID cards made.
- For printing necessary stationary-letter heads, reciept books, registers, files etc. and administrative costs associated.
- For paying the Auditor for annual audits of account.
- For Paying Aero Club Of India Annual subscription.
- For Insurance Premium.
- Other expenses as accepted by members in General body meeting.
